We are pleased to have you and your pet as our guest at one of Village n Life’s Pet Places. As a service to you, we have outlined a few simple guidelines that will help ensure the safety of yourself, your pet and our other guests.

All pets must be confined to their owner’s unit and must not be allowed to roam free or be tethered. We request that no pets are left unattended on patios or balconies and that pets in transit are carried, restrained by a leash, or placed in an animal carrier.

You are responsible for immediately cleaning up after your pet and discarding securely bagged pet droppings. This must be disposed of in outdoor bins only and must be securely double-bagged. No pet waste or cat litter may be disposed of in toilets. As pet caregivers, you are responsible for any damage caused by your pets and any damage caused by cleaning chemicals or other such materials used in an attempt to remedy said damage.

To ensure a pleasurable stay for all our guests, no pet shall be allowed to become a nuisance or create any unreasonable disturbance.

Examples of nuisance behavior for the purposes of this paragraph are:

• Pets whose unruly behavior causes personal injury or property damage.
• Pets who make noise continuously and/or incessantly for a period of 10 minutes or intermittently for 7 minutes per hour or more to the disturbance of any person at any time of day or night.
• Pets in common areas who are not under the complete physical control of a responsible human companion and on a hand-held leash or in a pet carrier.
• Pets who exhibit aggressive, dangerous or potentially dangerous behavior. Notwithstanding any other provision herein, disabled individuals may keep assistance animals in their units. Furthermore, nothing herein shall hinder full access to the property and the common areas by individuals with disabilities.Residents are responsible for the pets of guests who visit their unit and such pets are subject to the same restrictions as resident pets. No pet(s) of guests can stay in the unit without prior written permission of Village n Life.Pet caregivers shall indemnify Village n Life and hold it harmless against loss or liability of any kind arising from their pet(s).We thank you for selecting Village n Life’s Pet Places, and hope your stay with us is enjoyable.
